Finding myself bish

California, The United States.

Day 1

You have probably heard the name before, belonging to one of the most popular, trending and adventurous cities in the whole world. California is the perfect place for me to get to know myself and experience all the wonderful things life has to offer. I have therefor bought flight-tickets and will take off to USA for the very first time today and I am actually at the airport right now. There is people everywhere you look – families gathering together with their bags packed, kids running as their laughs echoes trough the crowd and of course, me. I am standing here like a total moron, more nervous than ever and I am totally facing this all by myself. Anyways, a lady is calling out my flight to California, I better find my gate.

Day 8

The boiling sun is definately offering me a secure and luscious tan, as with everyone else here in LA. It is quite like all the Hollywood-movies but on the other hand, not. I mean, all the palm trees are for sure real and absolutely beautiful too, but the streets are not overwhelmed with paparazzies or celebrities. Even though I am practically half way, looking, trough the window and nearly on the ground, wishing for it to happen. I have only been here for a couple of days – and I have done a ton of stuff during this time, already. Today I am visiting Universal studios, Hollywood in LA. It has always been a dream to me and now I finally got the chance! Universal studios is a themepark where you can ride rollercoasters and rides, with different themes. For example the park consists of The Jaws, Jurassic Park and the Simpsons! For all the fans, admires and nerds out there, this is the most fitting place for you! Also: I am extremely lucky that I met Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio, but I must admit out of nowhere it was totally over-flooded with people! I know they are famous but people ran like they`ve just seen an UFO. Even though it was one of the craziest moments in my life, it was totally worth it. The worst thing was that the guards had to block the area off and I did not get the chance to have a picture with them. Boomer.

Day 24

After this weekend I will become a real LA-citizen and nearly get the whole experience here in California. By attending to Coachella! Coachella is the annual festival of arts and music, and takes place on Empire polo fields, Indio in California. You could say it is a pretty serious tradition for the Californian people, but also for people all over the world. The whole point is partying and enjoying music together with friends and special people in life, while you are basically dancing to live music. It is part of tradition to invite well-known artists to perform in front of dozens of people. I am going to the same place where Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Travis Scott have performed, it is so damn thrilling! Also, the other point of Coachella is dressing up in unique or even wacky outfits, it is pretty the god damn reason with this festival – going outside the box and having fun with doing so!

  2. Hey girl! I liked this blog post for many reasons. First of all I really enjoyed the structure of what you´ve written. It´s very easy to read which I really appreciate. I also admire your way with words a lot, the text is very describing and you really get a good picture of everything you did. It´s very nice to see how you got more and more comfortable in California for every day that went by. I´m also staying in LA so we totally have to meet up and take a coffe or something!
