There’s been a whole year, 365 days without any contact with you guys. No blog-posts or updates about how my life is going nor my thoughts on things. I don’t want to come off as dramatic or as a crybaby, but it has been hard. The last months have been seriously tough for me and everyday have given me new struggles, fights and problems.In this post, my truth got to be heard. I’m an actor. It probably sounds profoundly ridiculous, but my life has been quite the ride. No days went by without AT LEAST one phone call, that lasted 2 hours. I know what you think – how did I ever become an actor and why?? Well, it is a long story that I am about to share with you, so sit back.
It all started after that day on universal studios, where I met Brad Pitt. Universal studios pretty became my absolute favourite spot in whole Los Angeles, but only after I got money from my old job at a local bookstore. Yes, I got a job, but only for a short period of time and that was before my current job-position in the acting-industry. The bookstore was actually pretty cozy and gave me the feeling of harmony and knowledge. I mean if I ever had a rough day and needed to take my mind off from things – the bookshelves and all the books gave me comfort. It is probably geeky or nerdy, but right now I don´t care, I loved working there and I miss it sometimes. By the way, the bookstore (I worked at is the same one they filmed in the serie YOU, where the famous Joe also worked.)It is thrilling to think about, I have been at the same spot as him!
Anyways, Brad Pitt watched me act as this random and spontaneous character named “Tiffany” in a theater (as you might know now) and apparently he liked what he saw.According to him he saw great potential in me and (hopefully) my future acting-career. Those are some big word from a world-famous actor, that has been in the industry for ages! I wouldn’t lie if I told you that my self-confidence got a spark or a push in the right direction. First of all I was more than beyond shocked,because how could such a big man even talk with me AND TELLING ME HOW GREAT OF AN ACTOR I WOULD BE. Life is crazy. I’m only a “small-town” girl who grew up in a family without a lot of money. We had to fight for our goals and our dreams, while struggling with keeping the economy stable.
Brad Pitt actually introduced me to one of his closest partners in the acting-industry. I think most of you are familiar with this extremely talented person ; Timothée Chalamet. He is living his best life right now and it is very obvious – I mean, he is a part of all these upcoming movies such as “The French dispatch” and the recently released “Little women”. One of his most famous and great movies are most likely “Call me by your name” which he participated along with Armie Hammer. Okay, back to the point – Timothée is pretty much the most amazing person ever to walk the earth. Since we have been working on this movie together, we have grown close in such a short period of time. Timothée and I have hung out A LOT.
I gotta summarize this up right now, because I am seriously in a hurry! I need to get ready for the Oscars, tonight! This is my first time attending to a gala as one of the VIP- guests. Of course I`ll go with Timothée, but sadly we are not nominated but it is pretty understandable. Hopefully in the future though!
